Privacy Policy — Routebook
Last updated: July 2026
What we collect
- Your mobile number — used to sign you in with a one-time code and to link you to your business roles.
- Business records — data your business enters to run itself: customers, deliveries, payments, container holdings, staff attendance, bookings and complaints.
- Activity records — an audit trail of who performed which action and when, kept for your business's own accountability.
We do not collect your location in the background, read your contacts, or track you across other apps.
How it is used
Data is used only to provide the service: showing routes and registers, computing bills, recording payments and keeping the business's books consistent. It is never sold or used for third-party advertising.
Who can see it
Access follows your business's roles, enforced on the server: admins see their own business; delivery staff see only their assigned routes; customers see only their own account. One business can never see another business's data.
Where it is stored
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), protected by server-side security rules. Money records are append-only — corrections are new entries, so history can never be silently rewritten.
Retention and deletion
Business records are kept for as long as the business uses the service. You can delete your own account from inside the app (Help & FAQ → Delete my account), which removes your access and membership. Business records belong to the business and are handled per its instructions.
Children
Routebook is a business tool and is not directed at children under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the app and this page will say so. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the updated policy.
